Jennica & Brock

How to elope in Page Arizona

Jennica & Brock decided to Elope to Page Arizona in a beautiful, intimate ceremony. They made the most of the location with some beautiful Lake Powell Elopement Photography

There is just something so special about an elopement! Jennica & Brock made the intentional decision to have an intimate wedding celebration by Lake Powell, so that they could really focus on each other. Although their elopement plans had to move from Bermuda to Page because of Covid, it was easy to see they were just super grateful to be there with each other (and stoked to be getting married!).

ELOPE TO PAGE ARIZONA | LAKE POWELL ELOPEMENT PHOTOGRAPHY

Lake Powell Elopement Photography

Jennica & Brock’s Lake Powell Elopement Photography didn’t actually start at Lake Powell. To start with, we headed to one of the many beautiful spots in Page that overlook the Colorado River for their ceremony. The first spot we went to was crazy windy, so we moved the ceremony behind some rocks for a calmer atmosphere. Despite the wind, you could tell Jennica & Brock were so happy to be getting married. After the ceremony, we headed down to Lake Powell for wedding portraits of the two of them. Lake Powell is truly one of my favorite places of all time and it was a magical spot to celebrate these two tying the knot.

These epic spots are famous for a reason, but let’s just say, there is so much more to Page than these two places! This entire area is filled to the brim with beautiful red rock cliffs and canyons that would make for a beautiful, intimate elopement spot. And of course, there’s the Colorado River and Lake Powell which are both stunning spots as well. If you’d like help choosing your location, just let me know!

How to Elope: Horseshoe Bend, Antelope Canyon and Glen Canyon

To get married or elope in one of the national parks around Page, it’s likely you’ll need to first get a Special Use permit from the National Park Service. It does depend on the precise location you choose though. For Horseshoe Bend, you’ll need to apply for a special use permit regardless of how many people will be present for your elopement. It costs $100.00, and you should allow 45 days for the permit to be processed. For Antelope Canyon, in the Navajo National Monument, or anywhere in the Glen Canyon National Recreation Area, it depends on whether your elopement is classed as low-impact or high-impact. Don’t worry if this sounds confusing though! I’m more than happy to help you with this!

The final step for planning your Lake Powell or Page Elopement is simply to enjoy your day!
