Arizona Snowbowl // Mount Humphreys // Flagstaff, AZ // Styled Shoot // Faith & Adam

During my college days at NAU I dreamed of doing a styled shoot in the snow on the mountain. This shoot made all of my dreams come true and more! A styled shoot gives the opportunity to highlight different vendors as well as photography skills. It’s the perfect chance to make all of my photo dreams come true and give my clients some special and fun images at the same time.

I based the entire shoot around the gorgeous tulle skirt from Sweet Caroline Styles where I also found that dreamy open backed bodice! The look really came together with the flowing greenery of Foster Wright Floral Design’s beautiful bouquet! I also teamed up with Kelsey Rouiller who styled Faith’s hair. For a styled shoot I like to give as little direction as possible and allow my vendors to get creative! For her hair, I just asked for a few braids under the crown and Kelsey created a fairytale, easygoing waved style that complimented the full skirt perfectly. With the florals I suggested a light pink and something to go with the blue of the skirt. The woodsy end result outshined my wildest expectations! 

Faith and Adam were troopers trekking up to Snowbowl with me to capture these stunning images. The way the sunlight glowed between tree trunks turned an already gorgeous location into an absolute winter wonderland. Every moment of the shoot was pure magic from the dazzling blue of the Arizona sky to the dreamy trail of tulle against the snow. It’s safe to say this shoot fulfilled my college dream!
