Granite Gardens Park // Prescott, AZ // Intimate Elopement // Styled Shoot // Alyssa & Koby

This eclectic tea party styled shoot was a dream from start to finish. With gorgeous florals from Prescott Valley florist, Koby’s handmaid wedding arch, and a special appearance from my mom’s little black dog, we had everything we needed for a picturesque afternoon by the creek. 

Alyssa and I have actually known each other since childhood! Although we hadn’t seen one another in years, because of her hair and makeup business we thought it would be a perfect partnership to work together for this shoot! 

Alyssa must have a thing for reconnecting with old friends because her and Koby grew up together as well: she even had a crush on him in elementary school! It wasn’t until 2013 that their friendship started to become something more when he was home for the summer and helped her build a dog house for her new rescue puppy. Eventually he decided to stay in Prescott and the rest is history! Judging by his crinkly eyed smile as he leaned forehead to forehead with her it looks like he’s never regretted that decision. 

The sun played peekaboo through the trees all afternoon, casting a golden glow against the natural greenery around us. Everything about the shoot felt magical, from Alyssa’s flowing white dress reflected back in the water to every gentle touch and soft smile the two exchanged!
