ARIZONA'S BEST WEDDING FLORISTS
Arizona is home to some truly wonderful florists, so choosing just one for your wedding can be difficult. To help you out, I created this list of Arizona’s Best Wedding Florists
If you’re planning your wedding, then first, congratulations!! This is such an exciting time! I know that wedding planning can begin to feel overwhelming though, especially once you start searching for photographers, florists, caterers and all the rest. Who would have thought that planning a wedding could involve so many different people?!
Luckily, I’ve got some inside information that should help to make wedding planning a little less stressful. Over my years working as a wedding photographer, I’ve had the chance to work with some of the best wedding vendors that Arizona has to offer, so I thought why not share with you? And because I adore flowers, I figured, why not start with a list of Arizona’s Best Wedding Florists.
ARIZONA’S BEST WEDDING FLORISTS
Honey and Shaw: Arizona Wedding Florist for Free Spirits
If you’re planning a bohemian wedding, then Honey and Shaw is absolutely the Best Arizona Wedding Florist for you. Their arrangements are free-flowing, elegant, romantic, and just a little bit different from the norm. Run by Ashley, who’s originally from Flagstaff but now lives in Mesa, Honey & Shaw’s floral creations are works of art inspired by nature, love, and laughter. Their flowers are sourced locally whenever possible, and they’ll advise you on seasonality to make sure your wedding blooms feature the very best. Not only are their floral arrangements beautiful, but the Honey and Shaw team is always a dream to work with.
Allan’s Flowers: Prescott’s Favorite Wedding Florist
Located in my hometown, Prescott, Allan’s Flowers are always a colorful and vibrant addition to any wedding day. They offer personalized service and customized designs, so you can be sure that your wedding flowers will be truly special. Allan’s opened in 1914, so they’re a bit of an institution – everyone knows and loves them. The fact that they’ve been open for more than 100 years is reason enough to include them on any list of Arizona’s Best Wedding Florists. Even more though, they made my corsage and boutonniere for my high school prom, so I have firsthand experience of their beautiful work! The team at Allan’s are always wonderful to work with and their floral arrangements bring such joy to any wedding day. If you’re getting married in Prescott, you should reach out!
Foster Wright Floral Design: Arizona’s Best Wedding Florist
Based in Flagstaff, Foster-Wright Floral Design, run by Shawn Foster-Wright, is easily one of Arizona’s Best Wedding Florists. So much so that she’s already booked out for both the 2020 and 2021 seasons!! Shawn began spending time around flowers when she was a small child, helping in her Mom and Uncle’s flower shop. It wasn’t until her friends began getting married and asking her for help with flowers though that she began to think of Wedding Floristry as a possible career.
Since then, her business has boomed and it’s easy to see why. I absolutely adore her unique designs and the way she manages to capture the couples’ personalities in her flowers. Her wedding floral arrangements include everything from succulents and air plants, to flowers grown in her own backyard, making her floral arrangements gorgeous and unique.
Arizona Florations: East Valley Wedding Florist
Arizona Florations creates beautiful floral arrangements that really can be any style you want – from bohemian to rustic, classic to colorful. I always love seeing their name on the list of Wedding Day vendors and so of course, that means I think they’re one of Arizona’s Best Wedding Florists. Based in the East Valley, Arizona Florations doesn’t have a website, but you can see plenty of their work on Instagram and trust me, they have something for everyone!
Whipstone Farm: Sustainable Wedding Flowers
Even though Whipstone Farm no longer offers wedding packages, I still wanted to give them a special mention here. For a long time, Whipstone Farm was hands down one of my favorite wedding florists in Arizona. Whipstone is a sustainable, eco-friendly farm based not too far from my hometown, Prescott, who grow flowers as well as fresh produce. The flowers encourage pollinators like bees to visit their farm, in turn helping their produce to grow, and of course, they’re a stunning addition to the farm’s fields. All of their flowers are grown without pesticides, chemicals, or artificial fertilizers, and they’re all grown in season, meaning they’re much more vibrant than a lot of cut flowers that have traveled long distances.
Just because they’re no longer offering floral design services, doesn’t mean you can’t include Whipstone flowers at your wedding though! Foster Wright Floral Design orders from Whipstone once a week and you can ask her to incorporate their flowers for you.
