As a wedding photographer, I have the immense privilege of watching your wedding day unfold, from beginning to end. I’m there from the early moments when you’re getting your makeup done, right up until the DJ has got the party well and truly going. This also means I know how much a wedding vendor can affect your wedding day, from keeping things on time to delivering an incredible service. Truly, one of the best things you can do when planning your wedding is to hire a team of vendors you trust and love. But where to start? It’s not every day you organize a wedding, after all!

Having your makeup done can make your wedding day feel a little extra luxurious. It’s not often you’ll have an excuse to pamper yourself like this! That said, it can also be a little nerve wracking because your makeup artist can have a big impact on how you look and feel on the day. Thankfully, I’ve worked with some truly wonderful Arizona Makeup Artists over the years, and I’m excited to share their details with you today.
Phoenix Makeup Artist: Laura Cortez Makeup
If you’re getting married in Phoenix, you can’t go past Laura Cortez. She’s a beautiful soul who’ll make you feel and look amazing on your wedding day. You can choose to have your makeup done either in her studio, or she’ll travel to you. And if you love her glamorous style, she’s available to travel as far afield as Flagstaff and Sedona.
Sedona Makeup Artist: Skin by Elisa
More than just a makeup artist, Elisa from Skin by Elisa is also a licensed aesthetician and cosmetic laser technician! If you’re looking for some extra pampering and facials in the lead up to your wedding day, as well as an amazing Arizona Makeup Artist, then Elisa is the makeup artist for you!
Prescott Makeup Artist: Skincare by Ali
Ali from Skincare by Ali is a Prescott local and she’s an absolute gem. She works as a licensed aesthetician at Salon St Martin, but is also available to travel to you for your wedding day!! Not to mention, she can take care of you in the leadup if you’re interested in facials, dermaplaning or waxing.

Get it Twisted with Makayla
Right now, Makayla isn’t accepting new inquiries, but keep an eye on her Instagram just in case! Her braided updos are absolutely gorgeous, perfect for boho brides and those of you looking for something still special, but a little more relaxed. Plus, even if she’s not taking new bookings, she has some really great super simple hair tutorials you can try yourself!

Gracie from the Traveling Salon is an Airbrush Makeup Professional and is available across Arizona. She’ll work with you to make sure the look is exactly what you want, whether that means natural and relaxed, or with bright pops of color and flare. I even collaborated with Gracie recently on an amazing boudoir shoot with Maggie from Midsize Magpie, and it was truly wonderful working with her!
Bella Bridal Beauty
Bella Bridal Beauty is another bridal hair & makeup team, ready to travel to you on your wedding day! They work across Arizona and will take their time to make sure you and your wedding party feel truly special for the whole day.
