As an Arizona girl I will forever jump at the chance to capture photos in the luscious greenery that’s a little lacking in my home state. With an upcoming trip to North Carolina, I knew I couldn’t miss out on the opportunity to do a shoot against the enchanted forest backdrop native to NC. Suélly and Sal were willing to make my dreams a reality! 

This sweet couple met at a bar in Annapolis, MD while Suélly was in the midst of a one year foreign exchange program from Brazil and Sal was in college. The two instantly connected and when the year was up Suélly couldn’t bring herself to move back home! The love these two share is as tender as it is strong, with military Sal leading the way in gentleness and communication. Suélly admits to being a little slower to let her guard down, but with how sweet and attentive Sal is she’s learning everyday that she’s safe with him!

The shoot was nothing short of exquisite with Suélly giving off all the Princess Belle vibes in her flowing yellow dress. The light filtered through the trees in a soft golden glow, highlighting the natural beauty of the North Carolina afternoon. Suélly and Sal shared an endless stream of happy kisses and soft touches as they danced their way through the dreamy greenery all around them. Capturing their love was nothing short of magic.
