URBAN TO WILD ENGAGEMENT PHOTOS: PRESCOTT ENGAGEMENT PHOTOGRAPHY

One of the wonderful things about Prescott Engagement Photography is that you don’t have to choose just one location for your portraits, instead, you can have Urban to Wild Engagement Photos

As much as getting portraits taken is so much fun – and I’m a big fan of taking portraits just because – I know it’s not something you can do every day. So, it pays to make the most of your engagement portraits by choosing locations that really mean something to you. This could mean taking photos at home, it could mean exploring your favorite nature reserve, or it could mean roaming the streets of your hometown. The incredible news for all of you living in Prescott (like me!), is that you don’t necessarily need to choose!

Watson Lake is an easy 10-minute drive from Prescott’s downtown area, so we can combine the two locations to create Urban to Wild Engagement Photos, just like Ashley & Brent did.

True to You Engagement Portraits

Ashley & Brent are such an amazing couple (just wait until you see their wedding!). It’s not hard to tell from their photos that they are completely in love and a whole lot of fun to be around. We planned their engagement shoot just before July 4, so we wanted to get into the festive summer spirit. They also wanted a mix of natural and urban locations for their Prescott Engagement Photography. Luckily, it was super easy to plan an amazing Urban to Wild Engagement Photo session for them, and we were even able to light some sparklers to celebrate an amazing day as the sun went down.

Any photographer will tell you that the best times of day to shoot are either sunrise or sunset. The soft, golden light fades into blue hour, adding a beautiful hint of wonder to everything. And the magic of Prescott Engagement Photography is that we can really make the most of that perfect light by starting a shoot in Downton Prescott before heading over to Watson Lake for sunset! The shade of the buildings in Downtown is perfect, and we’ll still have plenty of time to enjoy golden hour by Watson Lake.

Prescott is located amongst beautiful pine forests, and we have everything from desert scenes to mountains, lakes and streams. I’d love to share the very best of Prescott with you to help create an incredible experience for you. After all, your photos shouldn’t just be beautiful, but when you look back at them, you should remember an incredible day as well.
