Red Rock Crossing // Sedona, AZ // Anniversary // Couple Session // Francesca & Hudson

This Sedona couples’ shoot was not work, but a fun double date with my friend Francesca and her husband. Francesca is one of my favorites… if you aren’t already go follow her! She is such a talented photographer. Oh, and if you live in the northeast, HIRE HER.

I met Francesca at Beba Vowels’ Joshua Tree retreat and we hit it off. Unfortunately, she was getting ready to move east so we wouldn’t get to spend very much time together after we met. Luckily, we got to spend a day in Sedona trading photoshoots with our boos. 

On the way to Crescent Moon Ranch there was a car accident and we were worried that we wouldn't be able to make it; we already were meeting at a time that didn’t give us ideal light, so shooting later would have worsened this problem.  Fortunately, the traffic cleared quickly and we were able to meet Francesca and Hudson as planned. 

One other very important person I forgot to mention… LILO. Lilo is Francesca and Hudson’s golden-doodle puppy and I love her. I grew up with a golden-doodle so I was very excited to play with a puppy again. Side note; please bring puppies to your photoshoots! Puppies, cats, horses, goats, parakeets, tarantulas… if you have a pet you love then PLEASE bring it to our shoot. I will talk in baby talk a little too much but it will be worth it, I promise. 

Francesca wore the most beautiful yellow dress that popped so perfectly against the stunning landscape. I could go on and on about these two, they have the cutest love story ever, but if you want to know it you’ll have to find out for yourself ;) They are just so cute in every way. Hudson makes Francesca laugh effortlessly. They are another of my couples that is truly meant for one another.
