Red Rock Crossing // Sedona, AZ // Couples Session // Me & My Babe

On our day trip to Crescent Moon Ranch, in Sedona we were able to trade photoshoots with our friend Francesca and her husband Hudson. Wilson and I had only been dating for about 4 months at this point, so it was our first official photoshoot. Photographers often  will get professional photos taken much sooner than your average couple. It’s a perk of the job, being able to trade with fellow creatives. It was actually my first time getting couple photos taken ever of myself… and I have to say, it is so much fun!

I can speak from experience when I say that couples have nothing to be nervous about for a photoshoot. This experience confirmed what I already knew: a couple photoshoot is literally just an excuse to run around with your best friend, kiss, and snuggle with your babe. What else could you want?! 

I am incredibly uncomfortable in front of a camera, because I am used to being on the other side. But with Wilson by my side I felt so much more confident! Because anything I was doing, he was doing by my side. Please please, if you are questioning if you should get photos taken with your loved one, just do it. You will not regret it as long as you pick a photographer you adore.

I waded in the water in my blue dress holding the hand of my favorite person. He twirled me and picked me up… he made me feel beautiful and so so happy. Wilson is silly and fun, but romantic and sweet when he wants to be. Another bonus, he is also a photographer so he knows exactly what to do to make a cute photo. I wish I could get photos taken with him every month, but even my photographer guy doesn't want a camera in his face that often. So for now, I will cherish the photos that my dear friend captured of us.
