Top 8 Wedding Venues in Arizona

Call me biased, but I think Arizona is one of the best places to get married! With more sunshine than almost any other state, and so many different landscapes to choose from - think red rocks, sprawling deserts, lush green gardens, and flowing rivers - it’s easy to see why this state is such an amazing place to say ‘I do’. Today, I’m sharing a few of my favorite wedding venues in Arizona and what makes them so special.

8 Best Wedding Venues in Arizona

Flagstaff Wedding Venues

Violas Flower Garden

Ok, so I’m starting off this list with my all-time top favorite wedding venue in Arizona, Violas Flower Garden. Not only is this venue insanely beautiful, but the staff is incredible! Every single person on their vendor list is amazing to work with as well. Violas has recently expanded and now offers two wedding venue options. The gardens, which are the original wedding venue, are filled with lush flowers and plants that make for such beautiful and colorful photos. Serendipity, their newer event venue, has more of a foresty, mountain feel surrounding you with ponderosa pine trees.  You can’t go wrong with either of these options and if you’re looking for an outdoor wedding venue surrounded by flowers and nature, Violas Flower Garden is definitely the place!

The Arboretum

Another excellent garden wedding venue is The Arboretum at Flagstaff. This is my favorite Flagstaff wedding venue with a view. Directly behind the arboretum’s ceremony site lie the San Francisco Peaks, giving couples an incredible backdrop while they exchange their vows. The Arboretum also has plenty of forest trails, perfect for a quiet evening stroll with your partner after the day’s events. For couples looking to elope here, it’s best to rent a tent during the peak summer months as that also happens to be monsoon season in Flagstaff.

Prescott Wedding Venues

The Windmill House

The Windmill House is located in Chino Valley, about 20 minutes outside Prescott. In the summertime, the property is filled with lush greenery all around the beautiful pond, making you feel like you have been transported to another state! The ceremonies are held on a little island beyond a gorgeous bridge and the indoor area is perfect for a reception.

Sedona Wedding Venues

Red Agave Resort

Red Agave Resort is an outdoor wedding venue in Arizona that allows couples to fully experience the magic of the outdoors. Located in classic Sedona red rock territory, you’ll have incredible views of Bell Rock right in the background of your ceremony and reception. The resort offers a wedding venue and accommodations all in one so your guests have the option to stay in one of their cute A-frame cabins after the celebration has ended.

Creekside Inn

This little inn is SUCH a cute space that has been updated to provide incredibly gorgeous rooms for getting ready. Creekside Inn is located right by Oak Creek so you get both the sound and smell of the water for your whole day. I recommend this venue for late spring and summer weddings as all the trees are lush and green, making this venue even more of a private oasis.

Phoenix Wedding Venues

The Paseo

The Paseo, an Arizona wedding venue

If you’re looking for an Arizona wedding venue based solely on its exquisite look and feel, The Paseo is hands down the best option! This is one of the most beautiful wedding event spaces I’ve photographed with its high ceilings, natural wood beams, and floor-to-ceiling glass door and windows. The venue overlooks the Superstition mountains giving couples who get married here the most incredible desert wedding ceremony backdrop. While this venue is located a little farther from the city, it’s well worth the drive to experience all the beauty this venue has to offer.

Tre Bella

Located in Mesa, Arizona, Tre Bella is a really cool venue with an urban feel. The venue is perfectly laid out for weddings and has a great variety of spaces to utilize. Outside, there is a courtyard for ceremonies when the weather is nice, and on days when it is too hot, a beautiful indoor area where you can say ‘I Do"‘. Next door they also have a reception area and the back alley has really cool murals that create the perfect backdrop for couple portraits. These three spots provide so much flexibility allowing couples to have exactly what they want for their day. Oh - and did I mention that their getting-ready rooms are SO pretty?

Desert Botanical Gardens

Ok, so the last Arizona wedding venue on my list was literally created to look pretty so obviously there are a thousand places within to take photos. Everywhere you turn in the Desert Botanical Gardens, you get greenery and cactus in the background. The gardens are open to the public so there may be people walking around or other weddings taking place but the space is so large that it isn’t difficult to find a corner for your ceremony or reception.

So there you have it! You can’t go wrong in choosing any one of these incredible Arizona wedding venues! For more information, feel free to reach out to the venue directly, or get in touch with me! I’ve shot weddings at all of these locations and would be happy to share more!
