Michelle & Andrew didn’t just see their wedding as a celebration for them, but also as a chance to appreciate and celebrate their family. It was a truly beautiful day and I’m so excited to share their Grand Highland Hotel Wedding Photography with you here.

Before I get into the details of Michelle & Andrew’s wonderful Grand Highland Hotel Wedding, let me start by saying, I am absolutely a fan of how weddings have been breaking away from tradition over the last few years. After all, weddings are a celebration of the love shared by two people and a commitment to doing life together. Every couple is unique, and I’m so excited about how much easier it is to plan a wedding that stays true to that love. For Michelle & Andrew, this meant throwing a beautiful wedding that was a true celebration of family. Following a difficult year, you could see that they didn’t take the chance to be together for granted.

Michelle & Andrew: A Wedding that was All About Family

If there is one thing that really shone through at Michelle & Andrew’s wedding and their Grand Highland Hotel Wedding Photography, it’s that they appreciated their wedding as a rare event when their whole family could get together in celebration of life and love. They have a young daughter and they included her throughout the day, which was beautiful to witness. She came along for portrait photos, Michelle & Andrew had a first dance with her, and they even included baby shark on the reception playlist for her. Shoutout to one of my favorite wedding DJs, Justin from Sky City Audio, for working with Michelle & Andrew to make it happen!

You could also see how much Michelle & Andrew’s families meant to them. They were incredibly close and loving. Weddings are always emotional, but Michelle lost her brother the previous year. Celebrating a wedding while grieving a family member could never be easy, but it was clear that everyone appreciated being together and didn’t take anything for granted throughout the day. His memory brought the family together – they were celebrating with him and for him, as well as for Michelle & Andrew.

I can’t begin to imagine the bittersweet emotions of celebrating a wedding so close to such a difficult loss, but I sincerely admire the way Michelle & Andrew put together such a beautiful day in appreciation of the importance of family.

The Grand Highland Hotel, located on Prescott’s historic Whiskey Row, made for the perfect venue for Michelle & Andrew’s family-oriented wedding. They booked in the Hotel’s brand-new indoor reception area which is GORGEOUS! The brick interiors were absolutely stunning, and made the space seem intimate without ever feeling crowded. Just like any couple who books the space, Michelle & Andrew were able to use their decorations for both the ceremony and reception. It was wonderful seeing how they reused the decorations to create an incredible atmosphere throughout each part of the wedding.

It was clear from the moment Michelle & Andrew got in touch though that their wedding was going to be epic. Michelle’s style is absolutely amazing, which you can see through her Green Highland Hotel Wedding Photography. Her dress is one of my all-time favorites and her details matched beautifully. I especially loved their flowers from one of my favorite Prescott Florists, Allans Flowers. Alongside Andrew, Michelle brought a stylish personal touch to the Grand Highland Hotel’s new indoor reception area for a truly beautiful, personalized wedding.

This is perhaps one of the reasons why I think the Grand Highland Hotel is one of Prescott’s best wedding venues (and makes for amazing wedding photography!). As a family-owned company, they offer personalized service to all couples. If you want to plan a wedding that is true to you, then you can be sure that the Grand Highland Hotel will help you deliver that. Their gorgeous open courtyard is easy to personalize, while their rooms make for beautiful getting ready suites.
