Papago Park // Phoenix, AZ // Couple Session // Kaelyn & Tyler

Kaelyn and Tyler… I don’t even know where to begin. They are my favorite guy’s best friends. I first met them when Kaelyn and her roommate invited me to their Galentine’s Day party. This alone meant so much to me; Wilson and I had just started dating so having his friends be so warm and welcoming was amazing. I instantly knew that this small group of friends was made up of incredible people.

Not long after, Kaelyn and Tyler wanted to get couple photos taken. I was thrilled because I could already tell their relationship was a special one. Kaelyn and Tyler met on Tinder, but the cute part is that they didn’t meet for a long time. They would talk on the phone for hours but Kaelyn was still unsure if she was ready for a relationship. Once she met him, however, there was no going back and they have been inseparable since. Tyler is an incredibly intelligent and sweet man, and Kaelyn is loyal and loving; together they are a couple that builds up those around them while also making each other better and stronger.

For the shoot, we went to Papago Park.  Kaelyn was so nervous, but the second I asked her and Tyler to snuggle up she melted into his arms and couldn’t stop smiling. Capturing photos of them was truly effortless. There were many times that I told them to do something, only to hear the response of “What?” They were so distracted by one another that they didn’t even hear me.

These two are amazing people that I am very fortunate to have in my life. I can’t wait for more photos with them in the future. If I am lucky, I will be the one to capture their wedding someday. I love when I know that the people I am photographing are meant to be.
